Any thoughts on the game? After the 2005 upset with TCU coming out on top 17-10, Oklahoma will be looking to settle a score and get a now 3 year monkey off their back. Both teams are coming into the matchup with (statistically speaking) two of the best defenses in the nation. As always, OU will have a very explosive offense on their side lead by a very strong offensive front. However, I wouldn't count TCU out of the picture just yet. With returning quarterback Andy Dalton taking the reigns of a somewhat revitalized TCU offense, as well as TCU being able to split their runs between two ball carriers with equal success, the Horned Frogs could still make this match up interesting. Of course, my money is on TCU (seeing as how thats where my money goes in the first place). But, if you need any other reasons to tune into the game Saturday, perhaps you would like to catch up on two of West Texas'very own. Marcus Cannon from Odessa High will be starting at offensive tackle for the Horned Frogs and Walter Bryant from San Angelo Central will be starting at wide reciever in his last season to wear the purple and white.

Don't forget Lee's Evan Frosh TE.

Marcus has come a long way and done very well at TCU, imo. I was skeptical when they pulled him, but happily he has proven his doubters wrong.

And.... maybe we might even a glimpse of Ross Forrest????

I wouldn't be surprised for OU to Hang Half A Hundred on 'em once again.

I think OU wins this with some ease as well, the Big 12 is too damn good this year, I cannot wait for the Red River Shootout, that will be a special war that will be aired on ESPN classic for a while. I agree with Colin Cowherd of ESPN radio, the winners of the SEC & Big 12 should play for the title. Look at the top 10, 4 are from the Big 12 & 4 from the SEC, USC should get passed because the PAC-10 is garbage this year.

This game isn't worth the electricity my TV uses. If TCU wins, well, the sun has gotta shine on the toads butt sometime. If OU wins, wow, color me surprised. TCU is way overranked like they are every year. There is a dime's worth of difference between D-II and the Mountain West Conference. Permian's Powder Puff team could play them game.

Look at the stats. If the scouts were watching, OU has some real weaknesses that they wore their pens out documenting. Special teams and secondary are weak.

On top of that the running game for OU seemed to struggle alot, it didn't help that TCU allowed 411 yds through the air though.
