When was the last time you ever saw a Texas-OU game that was dominated by both passing offenses? Either these two offenses are absolutely unstoppable or both of these defenses absolutely stink.

I think OU's defensive coordinator should have re-thought the "let's let Shipley stay open the whole game" strategy.

My hat's off to the Longhorns.

Long road ahead for everyone, though. Big 12's tougher than ever this year.

As I said next week will be another hard fought battle but Mizzou doesn't have any D so if UT D steps up like today they will knock another one off top

Blackmagic15, Oklahoma ran the bubble screen about 10 times and every time they had a lineman down field, they also held Orakpo nearly every play. You need to see the reffing from both sides. Oh by the way OU SUCKS.

My take on the game is this...

When Stoops (or the OC) decided to fake the punt and run for the 1st down, things went downhill from there. That single play gave Texas excellent field position and the momentum which carried them through the rest of the game. That was not a good call. It didn't help for the interception in the end zone to be called incomplete either. That play should have been reviewed. The refs were terrible in this game for both sides. 2 things that hurt OU - the lack of a running game and the poor tackling in the 2nd half. Bradford had an outstanding day with 5 TDs and 387 yards passing, but it wasn't enough. Another telling stat - Time of Possession: 37:10 for UT and 22:50 for OU.

Good performance by the horns.

If you have to lose a game, do it early so you can climb back up in the polls. Lose late in the season, you are toast concerning the BCS picture.

Refs sucked both ways . . . so bad it seemed to even out. Too bad refs that bad on such a high profile game.

By rule you must maintain control of the ball when you hit the ground. Therefore equals no interception.

I have to agree. I was surprised at how poor the officiating crew was for this game.

I agree the refs sucked ass all away around I was impressed with Texas & McCoy's moxy everytime OU did something Texas answered I think McCoy passed Bradford for the simple reason when McCoy's team was down he stepped up & got results when Bradford started trailing he faded.
