LOL You showed them RR! Get that roll of toilet paper. haa haa
I wouldn't mind seeing a girl play for the opposing side every other point. LOL Might make it more interesting. Might get her kilt by her teammates though. Katt that could be REAL dangerous giving one girl a stick. LOL
OH RR I forgot to answer you about Dale, our Xcountry girl. As far as I know Dale is attending Texas A&M and doing well. At least I haven't heard she isn't doing well. I'm not sure if she was running cross country for them but I do know she is running track for sure.
Everybody was teasing her at the end of school last year if she was going to run to College Station. LOL I would laugh when some days I would be walking to my car and there she was running to class. That girl ran every where. LOL
I getcha now! LOL I was a little slow. I'm still trying to get used to the early school lunch and it's wearing me out. LOL That and what seems like 500 more kids a day.
Somebody said the sophomore class at LEE has 800 kids. I said and 795 of them do not drive. LOL Not sure either number is correct but it sounds good. haa haa
Oh me, the runners are a different breed. The sport is harder than any, with less recognition. They run before no fans and almost always in bad weather. When they come up short they can't blame it on anyone else. A few weeks back the Permian girls even ran into a swarm of bad bees.LOL You showed them RR! Get that roll of toilet paper. haa haa

I have to add that my daughter was a on the MHS Dawg Track Team in her day.....(the only blonde blue-eyed on the relay team! )
One Spring Break, While everyone went someplace tropical, we spent our "Spring Break in Big Lake" for a track meet......
Overheard at the meet:
"Gee, watching a track meet is so boring....it's like watchin' grass grow"....
To which another person replied:
"No, it's like watchin' YOUR NEIGHBOR'S grass grow!!!"
I'll never forget it! :) HAHAHAHA!

I love to watch a track meet. I like X country too but you can drive to Abilene or Lubbock to watch and it's over in 30 minutes and thats if you stay and watch everyone. I went to the Odessa invitation last thursday. My Red interest won the girls race but my favorite team won the meet. Life is great!!!
