- Bronchos...I enjoyed watching yall play. Most of us PHS folks will be rooting for you the rest of the way. Thanks for being so gracious in the loss. The kids and the fans were very classy last night, just like always. Good luck through the rest of district and GO BIG RED!

We don't play for the scholarship possibilities.
We don't play for the exercise.
We play because every minute that we are on that field is a minute where all of our problems disappear.
We play for the miracle touchdowns.
We play for the huge comebacks.
We play for that one game when all the hours of practicing come together and our play is flawless.
We play because we were born to play.
We play because we love the game.
So remind yourself why you play.

As you do they will make one last ditch effort to remember all schemes and assignments. They too will have that sick feeling in their stomachs. And right before its time to go onto that field for the game, they too will need to pee for the 3rd time since you arrived at Ratliff!! Air and opportunity boys thats all that is in your way from starting you legacy, but dont forget, your legacy is bigger than 1 game. MOJO has a legacy, and just like yours theirs started with 1 game. No go build yours one game at a time!

Recognize and Respect Permian's past...However play for the "now"....The players of the past, the movie creators, and the championship trophies will not be playing on that field Friday night 10/03....
Realize that you (OHS) are just as worthy and contrary to popular belief bring much nervousness and anxiety to your counterparts....You, Odessa High, do not have to hide behind a mystical rallying call.....And therefore do not have to meet great expectations.....Play smart and play hard....On to victory!
